Temple B’nai Sholom Membership Information

Please consider being a part of our Temple family! We are a small but vibrant Temple consisting of approximately 170 families representing all facets of the Huntsville Jewish Community.

The Huntsville & North Alabama area is a growing, diverse community. Over 61 languages are spoken in Madison County, AL alone. Whether your family has been in the area for generations or just recently moved here, you’re welcome at TBS.

Resident Membership With Voting Privileges

A resident membership provides your family with full voting privileges at congregational meetings, access to bar & bat mitzvah preparations & tutoring, reduced tuition at the community religious school, and more. Even more important, membership at TBS gives you a group of friends who will celebrate with you at happy times and support you in times of struggle. You’re not just buying a membership; you’re becoming a part of a community that has kept Jewish life alive in North Alabama for over 125 years.

Non-Resident Memberships

Would you like to be part of the TBS family even though you don’t maintain a local residence?  We offer a special membership for non-resident families.

This membership is classified as a non-voting membership with annual dues of $120.
Non-resident members receive a Yearbook, Temple Times and any special mailings. Also, when you visit, you’ll have access to the Rabbi and all Temple programs and
activities. If you later establish a local residence, you can convert to a full membership.
