Sunday November 18, 2012 Phil Kirshtein and Larisa Thomason graciously assisted us in burying Temple B’nai Sholom’s sacred texts on their property in New Market.
Phil has a gentle touch with his backhoe.
Rabbi Bahar consecrated the site before Larisa and Vic gently placed our books in their new grave.
Tradition dictated that sacred texts must be buried with at least two feet of soil above.
Rabbi Bahar said blessings before we all joined in the Kaddish.
What a beautiful setting for our books to rest.
